Jathzeel Jay Olivares

Jathzeel “Jay” Olivares, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Jathzeel grew up in Southern California (Los Angeles area) before relocating to Washington to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Whitworth University in Spokane, where he was part of the program’s inaugural class. Jay genuinely enjoys what he does and brings positive energy into each session, focusing on helping patients move better, build strength, and feel confident in their bodies again.

He has a strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation and works with a wide range of patients, from those recovering from injury to individuals looking to improve overall function and performance. Jay believes in keeping rehab simple, effective, and tailored to what actually matters most to each patient.

Outside of the clinic, Jay enjoys staying active, spending time at the beach whenever he can, and hanging out with friends and family. He also enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and everything it has to offer.

Matthew Gabielson, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Matthew recently joined our team in McKenna and has taken to the role like a fish to water. He attended Franklin Pierce University, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

While life in New England had its appeal, Matthew longed to return to the West Coast and packed his bags for the Pacific coastline. He then completed an orthopedic residency with Kaiser Permanente in California, where he worked with a wide variety of patients, including those recovering from joint replacements, surgical repairs, and athletic injuries.

Matthew has practiced in New Hampshire and California but has always considered Washington home.

In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, traveling, reading, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his friends and family.
